Ways to Practice With Us
Our schedule is built to welcome every kind of practitioner, whether you are seeking energy, stillness, recovery, or simply a quiet hour beside the water. Each of the six offerings below is taught in our calm canal-district rooms by instructors who lead with patience and care.
Morning Vinyasa Flow
Begin the day with breath and movement woven into one continuous rhythm. These flowing sequences build a gentle, warming energy as the early light spreads across the canal and fills the room. Guided at a considerate pace, the practice links posture to breath so the mind quiets and the body wakes without strain. It is an ideal way to arrive at your morning already grounded, clear, and open to whatever the day may bring.
Guided Meditation & Breathwork
In a calm, dimly lit room, an instructor leads accessible techniques for steadying attention, softening anxious thought, and returning to the breath. Sessions blend seated meditation with simple breathing practices that anyone can follow, requiring no prior experience and no special flexibility. Over time these tools become a portable form of calm you can carry into meetings, commutes, and sleepless nights, turning a few quiet minutes into a genuine reset for a busy, overstimulated mind.
Restorative & Gentle Yoga
Slow, deeply supported, and profoundly relaxing, restorative yoga uses bolsters, blankets, and time to let the body release tension it has held for weeks. Poses are held gently and comfortably, giving the nervous system space to shift out of its habitual rush. Perfect after a demanding week or during recovery, this practice teaches the quiet art of doing less, showing that stillness itself can be strengthening and that rest, taken seriously, is a skill worth cultivating.
Beginners' Foundations
A warm, structured path that introduces the essential postures, breathing techniques, and principles of mindful movement in a supportive, judgment-free setting. Teachers explain the why behind each shape, offer clear alignment cues, and encourage questions so nothing feels mysterious or out of reach. By the end of the series you will have the confidence to join wider classes and a solid understanding of how to practice safely, making this the ideal starting point for anyone new to yoga or returning after a long pause.
Candle-Lit Evening Practice
As the light fades over the water, our evening sessions offer a gentle way to unwind and let the day dissolve. By soft candlelight, slow movement and longer holds ease the shoulders, spine, and mind out of the tension the day has gathered. The atmosphere is deliberately quiet and warm, closing with a restful meditation that prepares the body for sleep. Many practitioners find this the most cherished hour of their week, a true boundary between the demands of work and the calm of rest.
Private & Small-Group Sessions
For those who want focused attention, we offer private and small-group sessions tailored to your goals, schedule, and body. Whether you are working around an injury, preparing for a personal milestone, or simply prefer a quieter setting, a dedicated teacher will build a practice around you. These sessions move at your pace and adapt as you grow, making them ideal for beginners who want a gentle start, couples and friends practicing together, or seasoned students seeking depth and refinement.
